Lo & Mo Riding High in the Charts
I’m still in the New Year doldrums. I have plenty of work to get on with, but it’s the old story; can I be bothered? Answer: not really.
So I took to pottering on the web, as I always do, and after checking on the progress (or lack of it) on my own works, I looked up books written by friends.
Like me, they’re struggling a little.
Or are they?
The Writer’s ABC Checklist, co-written by two dear friends, Lorraine Mace and Maureen Vincent-Northam, is low down the pecking order in the paperback charts, but as a download…
It currently sits high in three separate Amazon charts.
- In Kindle/books/nonfiction/reference/publishing & books, it’s at number 29
- In Books/reference/writing/editing it sits at number 40
- And in Books/reference/publishing & books it’s ranked at number 69
I own a copy of this book, and as I’ve said in the past, it is quite simply the best, ready-to-hand reference on my bookshelf. It’s A-Z format makes it so simple to look up anything I want quickly.
All I can say is Lo, Mo, it’s a great way to start 2012, and long may it continue.

I can only second that. The Writer’s ABC Checklist has been a helpful book any writer should have on their bookshelf, electronic or otherwise.
Thanks for stopping by, Cathie. I’m certain Lo and Mo will be pleased by your support.
Thank you David and Cathie!
Thanks from me, too.
You know you’re both very welcome.
